The Newmarket Budokan has been in operation since 1996 and is a registered not-for-profit corporation. We are located at the end of Steven Court (Southwest corner of Bayview Avenue and Mulock Drive). The club was founded by Sensei Karl Doherty, who is a former National Team member and currently holds a 5th dan in Judo. Over the years the club has produced numerous other black belts many of whom still instruct at the club.

Participation is encouraged in our low pressure, fun, and active atmosphere. There are a range of classes available, from child to adult -- beginner to advanced.
